A combination of drawing, painting and stitching. Each relief piece of work starts with drawing, fabric collage and painting. Once the fabric collage and painting has dried Anita works into the image with free machine embroidery and hand stitching, with beads and sequins applied to add extra texture. Anita also uses additional textile techniques to add foreground texture with crochet, fusible fibers and soluble fabrics.
