Group Work

Anita enjoys working with other artists, group projects and the community. Recently she has collaborated with the “25 Million Stitches: one stitch, one refugee” and The Covid Chronicle both touring exhibitions with venues stretching into 2023.

25 Million Stitches

This is a group exhibition using Textiles to raise awareness of the global refugee crisis. Participants range from 5 – 91 and come from around the globe. To see and hear the full story check out the 25 Million Stitches Video Below.

The Covid Chronicle

Embroiderers Guild – 100 Hearts 2018

An Embroiderers Guild exhibition in conjunction with SSAFA. Textile artists used cloth, felt, beads and threads to keep the memories and stories of WW1 alive. Many artists linked their Hearts and textile work with their own family histories and stories. This touring exhibition began in London, 2018 then visited Harrogate, Birmingham, Norwich, Liverpool, Shifnal and Aylesbury, Chertsey, Frome, Yeovil, North Shields and Stroud in 2019.
