About Us
Here at the Arty Crafty One you can find individual artworks created by Textile artist Anita Preece. She combines both Art, Textiles and Craft in a unique creative way—relief paintings, sculptures, jewellery, craft kits or workshops, there is something for everyone.
Anita has a long background in many different areas of the Arts. She completed her Multi-Disciplinary Design Degree in 1988 at the now called Staffordshire University. She went on to complete her PGCE at Manchester University (Didsbury) which was followed by a 30 year highly successful teaching career. Judged Outstanding by Ofsted Anita taught Art & Design, Textiles and Photography.
Retired from teaching Anita is now working as a mixed media textile artist and is a member of the Society of Staffordshire Artists, the Embroiderers Guild and the Camera Club.
